Partnership Financial Credit Union is a strong financial institution focused on serving our members, with roots dating back to the 1940s. Your financial well-being is our top priority.
Credit Unions are not-for-profit financial institutions, owned by their members, and exist solely to serve those members. As a not-for-profit, we do not pay corporate income tax on profits because we return earnings to our members in the form of generally better rates and lower and fewer fees than banks. Banks are for-profit institutions that use their profits to pay dividends to their stockholders and pay their board of directors. Our board is completely volunteer.
We want to bring to your attention what is happening in Washington, D.C., as it could affect your bottom line. Some bank lobbyists and politicians in Congress want to tax credit unions. We need you to tell Congress that you oppose this tax.
Please visit https://www.donttaxmycreditunion.org/ and scroll down to the “Tell Congress: Don’t tax my credit union – it’s a tax on me” section. From there, all you have to do is fill out the form. You can use the default message or compose your own and then click on “Send Message.” It’s that simple! Please let Congress know you want them to support credit unions in this important fight!
