CU Kind Day is a day when credit union employees around the nation come together to spread kindness in their communities. The day is meant to demonstrate the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.” It’s a day when credit unions partner with a charity to do some good! The day is typically held on the second Monday of October each year. PFCU has been a proud supporter and participant each year. Here are the charities that have benefited from PFCU on CU Kind Day:
- 2020 – Rise Against Hunger
- 2021 – Food Drive for pantries in the community of each PFCU office
- 2022 – Connections for the Homeless
- 2023 – Leyden Family Service & Mental Health Center
- 2024 – CU Aid (Hurricane Relief Fund)
